Run with the Bull - Television Premiere | Thursday, April 2nd, Bell Fibe TV1

I’m so pleased to share that Run with the Bull, a new docuseries featuring Hamilton-based comedian and actor Eric Johnston, premieres this month. The series follows Eric’s journey through weight loss, lifestyle change and personal growth, and Heather of the Forest had the opportunity to support him in exploring the mind-body connection to his wellness. Heather’s two episodes included guided forest bathing as well as a Reiki session conducted on camera.

It was a meaningful experience to be part of this work and to see these practices shared in a broader way. Watch the Trailer here:

Embrace Perimenopause & Menopause, A Women’s Wellness Workshop | Monday, April 13 at 6:00 pm

Perimenopause and menopause are often spoken about in ways that create fear, confusion or a sense that something is “going wrong.” But what if we approached these seasons differently?

These transitions are not a punishment. They are not a disease. And they are certainly not the beginning of the end. They are your body asking for a different kind of support.

Together with Kathleen Odumeru of Homestretch Health, we’ve created a workshop designed to support women in a way that is informed, grounded and compassionate. This is a space to learn, reconnect with your body, and begin integrating what you need now in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. If this is a season you are navigating, or one that is approaching, you are warmly invited to join us.

Breaking Through - Guided Meditation | Monday, April 20 at 6:00 pm

Join us for our monthly guided meditation evening as we explore the seasonal theme of Breaking Through.

Just as the buds and plants begin to emerge all around us, we’ll reflect on what is ready to come forward within you. Whether it’s a life shift, a new idea or a quiet inner knowing ready to be expressed, this gently guided experience will help you connect with what is waiting beneath the surface.

All experience levels are welcome. Floor and chair seating are provided.

Men’s Breathwork Event | Saturday, April 25 at 10:00 am

Prioritizing men's wellness is one of our biggest honours here at The Forest. To help integrate the burgeoning energy of spring, we'll be holding our next Men's Breathwork Event with the incomparable Brit Calixterio of Bear Heart Breathwork.

--> If you're a gent and interested, please register - we promise the session will be an accessible way for you to dig a little deeper in support of what's important to you
--> Know a gent? Please consider sharing this opportunity with them - sometimes a little push is exactly the thing we need to prioritize ourselves

There's nothing quite like breathwork in The Light Studio, with the morning sun flowing through panoramic windows and the supportive presence of fellow souls.

Mornings with Intention - a Four Week Series | Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am April 28, May 5, 12 and 19

Back by popular demand, this spring series invites you into the woods and into a deeper connection with your inner knowing. Each morning begins with a serene woodland walk and forest bathing experience, followed by guided discussion on themes such as releasing stress, strengthening connection and developing intuition. We close each session with meditation and reflective journaling.

These mornings are grounding, engaging and welcoming to all experience levels. You are invited to come as you are, either on your own or alongside friends.

Each series includes four weekly 1.5-hour sessions, with both indoor and outdoor elements depending on the weather.
