Saturday, June 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm

Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body through this restorative yoga and nature immersion experience at The Forest and Sara Lodge Wellness. Beginning with a gentle forest grounding practice, this clinically-informed, lymphatic-focused session is designed to support nervous system regulation, circulation and natural lymphatic flow. Participants will enjoy a slow, supportive yoga practice with optional essential oil adjustments to encourage deep relaxation and release. We’ll close with a peaceful sharing circle and chilled cleavers tea, a traditional herb known to support the lymphatic system. No experience is needed and spaces are intentionally limited to create a calm, intimate experience.

This experience offers a grounded and compassionate approach to understanding the physical, emotional and nervous system changes that can arise during this stage of life. Together, we’ll explore evidence-informed wellness strategies, mind-body connection, movement, mindfulness and practical tools to help you feel more supported, balanced and connected to your body. Rather than viewing this transition through fear or limitation, this workshop invites women to approach it as a powerful shift into a new season of awareness, strength, and self-trust. No prior experience is needed and all women are warmly welcome.

Step into a deeply embodied experience that invites you out of the thinking mind and into the wisdom of the body through movement, breath, music and meditation. In this Chakradance workshop with Amanda, participants are guided through grounding stillness, intuitive movement and expressive dance designed to awaken inner energy and restore balance within the chakra system. This powerful practice supports emotional release, nervous system regulation, self-expression and deeper connection to self. As we move through each energetic center, we gently let go of what no longer serves us and create space for greater harmony between mind, body and spirit. No dance experience is required and spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and supportive.

Dr Marilyne Carrey (Associate Professor & Graduate Program Director, Brock University) and Heather Stuart (The Forest) will lead a conversation titled Where Energy Meets Science: The Connection Between Nature and Wellbeing, exploring the growing intersection between environmental science, human wellbeing and our relationship with the natural world. Together, they’ll discuss topics ranging from plant communication, connection and how nature may support both physical and emotional health.

Through movement, mindfulness, nature connection and practical wellness tools, participants will explore healthy ways to support stress management, focus, sleep, confidence, energy and overall balance.

This workshop creates a welcoming space where teens can step away from daily pressures, reconnect with themselves and build habits that support both mental and physical wellbeing. Spend time with featured authors as they share excerpts from their books, speak about their journeys and connect with readers in an intimate and welcoming environment.

Guests will also be able to browse and purchase books, handcrafted wellness items and offerings from a variety of heart-centered vendors. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, personal growth or simply a meaningful afternoon surrounded by like-minded people, this gathering offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down and connect. Author readings and speaking presentations will begin at 3:00 pm

Featured author Douglas Thomson will be sharing from his A New Way Forward book series, a collection exploring spirituality, consciousness, manifestation, reincarnation and the connection between energy and personal transformation. His work invites readers to reflect deeply on life, healing and the unseen forces that shape human experience.

Author Stephanie Malo, creator of the Stop to Smell the Flowers series, brings a heartfelt and grounding perspective centered on mindfulness, gratitude and finding beauty in everyday life. First-time author in process Myra Willis will also be joining us to share her holistic energetic healing modality known as Aligning Touch.
